Learn About Surrogacy Through Podcasts

Podcasts offer a great way to pass the time, whether you’re commuting, working, relaxing or researching. There are literally thousands of podcasts on pretty much every topic from news, business, sports, health and, of course, our favorite, surrogacy! We did some research for you and found the best podcasts talking all things fertility and surrogacy.

“Venus Rising”

Their description: “We are a strong team of women working together to address bioethical issues that most profoundly affect our humanity. We exist to educate the public about these issues to protect our human future. We will be welcoming back some of our most influential surrogates and donor conceived persons to share their first-hand experiences as not only donors but the result of someone's choice to donate. Our goal is as ever to create conversation, facilitate discussion and encourage you to think beyond the masses.”

“Stop. Sit. Surrogate”

Their description: “A mother and daughter podcast educating others on surrogacy from a surrogates point of view. And the point of view from the intended parents, children born from surrogacy, the agency, legal professionals and IVF doctors for the science behind it all. Together we have brought 8 beautiful children into this world and it's been an insane rollercoaster ride! Good and bad, the sweet and the sour, all coming to light about the truths behind the best and worst surrogacy journeys. Stop. Sit. Surrogate. “I Want to Put a Baby in You”

Lastly, and our favorite, we highly recommend “I Want to Put a Baby in You” by Ellen Trachman and Jennifer White! In full disclosure they are the owners and founders of Bright Futures Families, so of course we love them!

Their description: “If you're uncomfortable with TMI and talking about the birds and the bees this is NOT the podcast for you. Sister duo Jennifer White and Ellen Trachman explore topics from sperm and eggs to babies and everything in between. You'll learn about artificial insemination, gestational surrogacy, egg retrieval, egg donation, and more. I Want To Put A Baby In You will have you laughing and crying with informative and touching stories on surrogacy and assisted reproductive technology.” Tune in on itunes, iHeartRadio, SoundCloud and Patreon.
